When it comes to Grand Theft Auto 6, fans are eagerly awaiting answers to two major questions: when will it be released, and when will we see the next trailer? While the game is officially slated for a Fall 2025 release, an upcoming trailer could provide a clearer picture.

It’s been over a year since Rockstar unveiled the first trailer for GTA 6, and anticipation for another look at the game has only grown. Many expected a second trailer to drop in December on the anniversary of the first, but Rockstar remained silent.

Now, with the release window drawing closer, it seems only a matter of time before Trailer #2 arrives—and according to new claims, we may be just weeks away.

The hosts of GTA VI O’Clock, veteran games journalist Dan Dawkins and executive producer James Jarvis, recently predicted that GTA 6’s second trailer will debut in early April—possibly even late March. Their analysis is based on Rockstar’s past marketing strategies for GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, aligning key media beats with previous campaigns.

If Rockstar follows a similar timeline, the second trailer would kick off a five- to six-month promotional push leading up to the game’s anticipated release in October or November 2025.

“There are all sorts of caveats and ‘acts of God’ that could impact this, of course. Not least a delay,” the hosts noted. “Nothing suggests that will be the case—right now—but caveat emptor, etc.”

Additionally, their latest newsletter referenced a “credible” source backing an April release for Trailer #2.

Of course, none of this is officially confirmed. Rockstar remains tight-lipped on speculation and rumors, so fans should take this with a grain of salt. However, GTA 6 publisher Take-Two Interactive has reiterated multiple times that the game is on track for a Fall 2025 launch—though CEO Strauss Zelnick did acknowledge the ever-present “risk of slippage.”

For now, all eyes are on Rockstar, as the wait for the next big reveal continues.
