New Graphic teaser are making fans super happy

Grand Theft Auto VI fans are understandably eager for a second trailer. Naturally, a glimpse of gameplay would be ideal, but at this point, most of us would be happy with anything—just a small tease from Rockstar would suffice.

In the meantime, some fans have uncovered a potential preview of what to expect from GTA VI, hidden within GTA V itself.

The latest graphics update for GTA V on PC introduced major visual enhancements, including ray-tracing, ambient occlusion, global illumination, and support for AMD FSR and NVIDIA DLSS. As Reddit user lopsidedawn pointed out, this graphical upgrade might offer a hint at the level of detail we can expect in GTA VI.

“We can definitively say now that GTA VI’s graphics are going to be insane,” they wrote, sharing a side-by-side comparison of GTA V before and after the update. “This new GTA V update brings global illumination to Los Santos, and it looks amazing—imagine this in Vice City.”

We can definitively say now that GTA 6 graphics are going to be insane! This new GTA V update brings global illumination to Los Santos and it looks so good, can you imagine this in Vice City?

The comparison quickly sparked excitement among fans. AgitatedFly1182 commented, “Remember, I think this is RAGE 7. They can’t do much here. Imagine what they’ll be able to do on 9.” Another user, CplKingShaw, added, “I am telling you, we are not ready hahaha.”

Of course, GTA VI’s reveal trailer already gave us a strong idea of the game’s visual fidelity. While it didn’t feature gameplay, Rockstar confirmed that the footage was entirely in-engine rather than pre-rendered cinematics. So when gameplay does finally drop, it shouldn’t look drastically different.

We may not know when the next update is coming, but at least we’re in the final countdown.
