On the latest Take-Two quarterly earnings results meeting Rockstar Games’ parent company confirmed that GTA 6 is still set to release in Fall 2025.
In the previous quarterly report, GTA 6’s launch window was narrowed down from 2025 to Fall 2025. Take-Two also said they were highly confident that Rockstar Games “will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience” on time for Fall 2025.
Take-Two did not narrow that window down further this quarter. And as to whether the video game company will reveal the date in its next quarterly check in this fall, CEO Strauss Zelnick told Variety, “I guess we’ll see.”
While it’s encouraging news, one must remember that setbacks can still occur in the games industry. No project, developer, or publisher is immune to unforeseen challenges. Nevertheless, the continued adherence to the Fall 2025 release window supports an intriguing theory that recently emerged from GTA Online content.
Rumors suggest that a hidden message on the license plate of a pizza delivery bike hints at an October 4 release next year. While this theory remains unconfirmed, it adds an extra layer of excitement and speculation for fans eagerly awaiting the game’s arrival.
